Kelowna Kodiaks earn bronze medal at 2011 Midget C Provincials

Kelowna Kodiak Midget II box lacrosse team earn Bronze at 2011 Midget C Provincials!

The Kelowna Kodiaks earned the bronze medal at the British Columbia Lacrosse Association 2011 Midget C Provincials. In a strong team effort, the Kodiaks defeated Williams Lake 9-6 in the bronze medal game. Kelowna went 3-0 in their pool, including a victory over Gold medal winning Mission (7-5), Cowichan Valley (5-4) and West Kootenay (12-2). The Kodiaks lost a heart-breaker in quadruple overtime to Port Coquitlam (Silver winners) 3-4 in the cross-over game in an electrifying, nerve-racking and intensely grueling battle that lasted nearly three and a half hours that saw Kelowna outshoot Po-Co at least 4-to-1, peppering the Saints goaltender with over 90 shots.
