Field Lacrosse Registration

Field lacrosse is played on a soccer field with 10 players on the field for each team at the same time. It is a fast paced game that runs 4 quarters. Defensive players use 6 foot long sticks and the goals are 6 feet by 6 feet. Check out the MLL to see how the game is played at its highest level.

Field lacrosse starts the first week of September. All games are played on Sundays. Practices are held every Wednesday night from Sept 8 until November 3 at 6:00pm - 7:30pm at the outdoor field behind the Capital News center. There will be a Learn to Play night Wednesday September 8th at the Mission Sportsfields artificial turf (behind CNC) at 6pm-7pm and then again on September 12th at the Glenmore Sportsfields 10am-11am. KMLA is also accepting coaching applications for field lacrosse (U10 - U16). Coaching clinic will be offered at the beginning of September. Registration for field lacrosse also makes you eligible to participate in the Wednesday Night Lacrosse nights at the CNC indoor turf from November to March. This is a great way to maintain and improve your stick skills through the winter. Regular season schedules will be posted at: www.legendslax.ca/InteriorFieldLacrosse.htm.

Print the following form twice to fill out 4 copies of the attached registration form , and mail it along with payment to:

-Separate forms and cheques must be written for each player.
-Cheques should be made payable to KMLA.

The following price structure will be used for the 2010 season:

U8 (Tyke): Birth years 2002-2003 | ages 7-8 | $80.00
U10 (Novice): Birth years 2000-2001 | ages 9-10 | $80.00
U12 (PeeWee): Birth years 1998-1999 | ages 11-12 | $140.00
U14 (Bantam): Birth years 1996-1997 | ages 13-14 | $150.00
U16 (Midget): Birth years 1994-1995 | ages 15-16 | $160.00
U19 (Junior): Birth years 1991-1993 | ages 17-19 | $165.00
